It’s great to hear from people who have given a home and a family
to one of our dogs. Here are some of the letters we've received.

 | Lola | Dear Mutts,
Here is little Lola all snuggled up in her new home.
Thank you for saving her. | | Benji | Just an update on our Benji as we have now had him just over a year. Time flies! He is a really great little dog and fits in with our lifestyle so well.
We have recently taken him for a trim, as he does not really moult and he seemed to be getting rather hot on his walks in the warm weather. He looks quite smart now, so maybe he will not win "best scruff" at your next fun-day later this month. His cup is still proudly displayed! Maybe he will win one of the other categories, who knows. We are looking forward to coming along at the end of the month.
| | Roslyn | Hi there all my friends at Mutts, Roslyn here.
I have been with my new family now for three and a half years, and it just gets better and better. I still go for my long walks over farmland, and also spend lots of time on the beach in Suffolk. I have learned lots of tricks, and my mummy and daddy are very proud of me and are always telling people how clever I am. I can give paw, sit, lay down, roll over, speak, wait, stay, find hidden doggy chews, leave food until I am told - I just love learning new things!
When my mummy and daddy took me home they were a bit anxious about how I would be around little people. Well, as you can see by the photograph, there was nothing to worry about, they absolutely love me and I love them. I love my new life and my new home, but I will never forget the kindness you all showed me at Mutts, and will always be grateful for making me well again and finding me such a special forever home. Love and licks - Ros xxxxx
| | Spud | Dear Mutts in Distress,
We are the very proud carers of one of your dogs Spud, who I understand was a favourite with the ladies at the kennels.
Sadly, Spud passed away last Thursday 10th November due to organ failure, which the vet has said was due to his age (12) and size.
We are of course heart broken by his loss, and miss him greatly.I have also written to Spud/s previous owner to let him know the news. Thankfully, he was able to come and see Spud last month, and was overwhelmed at how well he looked and the positive changes in his manners.
Sizzle our other Staff has become the family shadow without Spud and is still looking for him.
We would like to thank Mutts in Distress for being such a perfect gentle dog into our lives and we feel very blessed to have apart of his final stage of life.
Thank you. | | Ben | Dear Mutts,
I have attached a photo of Ben happily settled in to his new home. | | Jackson | Dear Mutts,
Just wanted to say Jackson has settled in really well.He has quietened down and relaxed in his new home.
He has 2 beds and we now have a stair gate to stop him going upstairs where he was jumping on the computer in order to look out the window!
He loves the dog flap leading to his big garden, which he is protecting from the neighbours cats!
Thought you might like to see a photo.
Kind regards,
Mike, Jay and Brenden
| | Prince | Hi all,
Just to let you know how "Prince" is getting on.
He has now been with us a week and has settled brilliantly.
What a splendid chap he is. Ignoring the thunderous snoring he is a loving, gentle and well mannered dog (though he does have an amorous attraction to peoples legs sometimes).
He goes in for his shots this Thursday at which point we will book him in for his operation. After which he is done and dusted.
Brilliant dog! Thanks again.
Kindest regards,
Mark,Bunty and "Prince" Gillespie
