Hello my name is Digby, I’m a puppy of about 10 months and so far I’ve lived a life of hell.

I was abandoned by my owners, tied to a lamppost and left there. I watched them walk away.

A kind lady came to sit with me and when it was obvious I'd been abandoned, I was taken to the dog pound to wait seven days to see if my owners came for me.

On the 8th day, when they didn't come, I was supposed to be put to sleep, but the lady at the pound told Mutts in Distress that I was in trouble and they came and collected me and took me to the vets.

The vets said I had bad mange which Mutts in Distress are now treating but because I was neglected for so long, I have scars and urine burns where it seems I was made to sit in my own wee and poo, that really burns and it hurts.

I’m in Mutts in Distress's special hospital unit now and they’re nursing me and making me all better.

I bear no grudge against any one for the neglect I have suffered.

I love all people and since I’ve been here, I’ve tried to make friends with the other dogs and cats (but I’m not aloud to mix yet.) Is there any one who once I’m better, will give me a home and really love me this time?? Thank you.

Weyhey ! I have been rehomed and have a fantastic life now. Thank you to everyone that helped me at Mutts, at the vets and especially to my new Mum.
